It's been a while

On April 8, Easter Sunday, we will also celebrate the two-year anniversary of Tara's rescue from her Ukraine orphanage. Adoptive families call it the Gotcha Day. We're so thankful that we have Tara in our lives. Two years is a long time, and I will contemplate whether to keep this blog going after that. I'm not sure if interest remains on watching Tara grow up. At some point, I will stop. Maybe soon?
Posted to Tara's Story
Well, I for one am interested in watching Tara grow up! I hope you'll keep it going awhile longer.
Posted by: Susan Keaton at March 28, 2007 01:00 PMI guess I would have to lthink about what would Tara want? I can't put myself in her place. If you were putting it to a vote, I would say that you could close the blog with a good feeling that you called a lot of attention to the plight of the orphans in Ukraine.
Maybe a new blog, a variation on the same theme? Highlight the kids still in Ukraine?
Posted by: karen wiz at March 28, 2007 02:43 PMi still check in on Tara!! : P DON'T DELETE YOUR BLOG!!! Even if you don't want to keep updating it, you should leave it for others to see, then maybe start a fresh one if you want. Maybe if you don't want to keep updating frequently, just update say, once every few months or even every 6 months??
Posted by: at March 28, 2007 06:12 PMWe are putting our paperwork into adopt from the Ukraine. I am very interested in your experience. We've also adopted twin girls from Russia! Tara is beautiful! I am so happy for you!
I will check your archives for information - but please email me if you have anything specific you would like to give me.
