Sweet dreams, little one!

Not to be creepy, but I have read Tara's entire story from the weeks before you originally left for Ukraine up to Halloween. I was researching adotion from the Ukraine and somehow came to your blog. It has been inspirational. Your positive attitude throughout the entire long, difficult process reminds me that everything is what you make of it and seeing how beautiful and wonderful your little girl is is a reminder that even though it is daunting, it is so worth it. I have so many questions about how living in an orphanage affects childrens development- it seems that Tara has been relatively unscathed. Do you know if this is the norm among children coming from Ukraine? You seem to have been incredibly well prepared, so I imagine you may have researched this yourself- are there any web sites, articles etc. that you might point me to? Also, is there a mailing list for updates on the adoption process as it changes? Thank you so much for sharing your story. I hope the fact that a complete stranger has read it and gained hope and determination doesnt creep you out, but instead reminds you that Tara's story and your experiences help to pave the way for the rest of us.
Thank you, thank you.

Tarah looks so cute, as always! She really looks like she's turning into a big girl, not to make you sad :)

take care,

Alice
