Good Luck - "bohato szczastia".
Hi.
I'm from Winnipeg, Canada. I'm a friend of your super sister, Karen.
I do not have Russian or Ukrainian alphabet installed in my computer, but I can speak Ukrainian.
I took Russian at school for 9 and one half years. Now, I'm mixing it up with Ukrainian, simply because I met many Ukrainian people in Canada and I do not use Russian here. I can still understand and read Russian well. There is a fantastic book at the good book store, if you need : English/ Russian Conversations. In it you will find short, every day sayings, that will help you to ask for simple things in Ukraine. I have one Polish,Russian/ English.
As I said to Karen, it is very nobel of you to think about those poor children in Ukraine and trying to make life easier for some child. They suffered enough in Chernobyl years ago. An echo of it is still in their air.
Bless you hearts ! All the best to you.
I want some beer - Ja hoczu pyvo ( or "horylku" if it is a "hard" stuff).
